Site Visits in Rome
In order to offer the student a comprehensive understanding of the city of Rome, site visits are organized and included in the educational program of the different courses. Some of the most important sites visited in Rome are:
Capitoline Hill and Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Saint Peter's Basilica and Piazza.

One Day Didactic Tours
The Rome Center arranges several visits which are considered part of the program and curriculum. There are day trips within the Lazio region and nearby Umbria to places such as Hadrian's Villa, Ostia Antica and Orvieto. The excursions include transportation, entrance fees to museums and the participation of a Rome Center professor who leads the group.
The Rome Center organizes additional optional weekend tours in some beautiful Italian locations, led by one or two UARC professors. The tours include transportation, hotel accommodation and entrance fees to museums. These tours will be subject to payment by the students.
Optional tours may include the following destinations, located in different regions of Italy:
Southern Italy - Matera, Pompei, Paestum (3 days / 2 nights)
Northern Italy - Dolomites, Trento (3 days / 2 nights)
Northern Italy - Milan, Turin (3 days / 2 nights)
Northern Italy - Verona, Vicenza (3 days / 2 nights)
